EVENT AT A GLANCE:

View
By the end of 2010, criticism grew over the unclear future of electric vehicles. Thus far, the investment put into developing them has yet to deliver reasonable returns. Meanwhile, most vehicles in use today are still powered by gasoline. It is unclear whether the mass market is ready to adopt electric vehicles. Moreover, even if it were, the vehicles themselves are more expensive to purchase and operate than those running on gasoline.
An increasing number of experts see China at the center of the green mobility movement. China¡¯s automobile market is the world¡¯s largest, Chinese consumers have shown strong interest in electric vehicles and the industry has government backing. As a result, China¡¯s green auto market is enjoying something of a boom right now. However, a balance must be struck between innovation and commercialization in order to realize a true green auto revolution in China.
With the unveiling of the nation¡¯s 12th Five-Year Plan, we believe the automotive industry is poised for a historic transformation. Our Green Mobility 2011 is designed to explore emerging long-term strategic issues and find the best renewable energy solutions. Our flagship event in your 2011 automotive calendar will bring together leading industry players to brainstorm on the future of green mobility and help solve the key challenges your business faces.
The electric revolution is on! Don¡¯t miss it!
