REACH Regulation is about the registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemical substances. According to the regulation, by 1st December 2010, the chemical substances for more than 1000 tonnes per annum should be registered or they will not be allowed to enter the EU countries. Asia or Europe, local or MNC, no company can afford neglecting this issue. The companies who failed to make it will not be allowed to enter the EU market.
How will this influence the benefits of the chemical companies, especially millions Chinese chemical producers in China, to whom EU is one of the biggest traditional export destination? What and how much do they need to do indeed to not lose the big market of Europe? Is there any way to reduce the time, labor, riskand cost?
