Brief Introduction of Zhibo Lucchini Railway Equipment Co., Ltd
Zhibo Lucchini Railway Equipment Co., Ltd (ZQ) is a joint venture between Zhibo Transport Equipment Co., Ltd and Lucchini RS SpA (LRS). The current production facility has a built up area of 50,000m2 and ZQ is the only high speed wheelsets manufacturer and maintenance centre in China.
More than 80% of all the equipment and machinery utilizes state-of-the-art CNC equipment, a majority of which is imported mainly from Europe. Production and technology and know-how is from LRS and ongoing technology transfer from LRS to ZQ will be completed by the end of 2008.
ZQ employs European management systems as well as cutting edge European production technologies especially for high speed wheelsets. It is also actively involved in the design, production and supply of wheelsets optimised for the Chinese high speed EMUs. ZQ is also involved in the maintenance of high speed wheelsets, having already completed several overhaul jobs for its key customers.
