3rd annual Asia Gas Congress 2007, held from Nov.7th to 9th at Hotel Nikko New Century Beijing, was a great success by attracting over 300 senior professionals all over the world and with more dynamic activities. We're well aware that the natural gas industry is coming into a crucial stage with new but swing suppliers and more hungry buyers on board. Price is going up while spot cargo is gaining much importance to supplement long-term contracts. Compared to fierce competition for upstream supplies, China's downstream market, in particular those developed areas, is also facing a reshuffle with new gas utilization guidelines issued. In a word, natural gas industry is full of variables. Hence, the Asia Gas Congress is and will continue to serve as a strategic platform to gauge the pulse of this ever growing industry and to actively engage with your potential partners, customers and counterparts. |
